Re: Bone shortening not working as expected

Okay, this is a repeatable bug, and I'll report it to the devs. I've narrowed down what causes it and there's not really a workaround other than not using beziers. But in your case, you are already using enough points to create the exact same shapes without beziers. Here's an example: http://www.fi...

Re: Bone shortening not working as expected

It's not a bug but just the nature of working with bezier points for this type of animation. Bezier can get you very precise shapes making them preferable for drawing but they're just not going to interpolate smoothly unless you create extra keyframes to make the transitions more predictable. This ...

Re: Bone shortening not working as expected

I have a strong preference for bezier handles and it's how I'm used to work in any vector software so I am very concerned about this behaviour that is not predictable or desirable, it looks like a bug and actually this is not the first time I notice the beziers doing not predictable changes mid ani...

Re: Bone shortening not working as expected

so, if I understand it right, the bezier settings doesn't matter now, it should not affect the way bones move their binded points, is that right? I tried with the beziers desactivated anyway but nothing changed. I should have mentioned this but just hiding the bezier handles does not change bezier ...

Re: Bone shortening not working as expected

Without seeing the actual problem, it might work better if the points are rigidly bound to the bone. IOW, no flexi-binding...either point or layer binding (or maybe Bones>Use Selected Bones for Flexi-binding , but only one bone). It could also be that your bezier handles are too extreme, so as the ...

Re: Bone shortening not working as expected

Still can't see the video: screen says it's not available. Maybe a privacy setting? ...But when I do that I see that some beziers are not working as expected: they are changing direction suddenly and then getting back to normal 3 or 4 frames later... The moment you mentioned bezier... Thank you for...

Bezier points animation bug in rotating and shortening bone

Hello! This original post is edited because now I have more information to provide. I will update it to resume the information obtained so the developers don't need to read all the comments. there are two different things being talked about in this post: 1) Like all of you made me understand, Moho b...

Thank you so much for all that useful information! This is the most interesting topic for me and there is almost no info about it.

do the most versatile and flexible character rig?

Hello! One of the things that impressed me the most about moho was the body turns and versatile rigs that I saw on youtube. I'm learning the program and I would love to know your experienced opinions on the pros and cons of this kind of "all in one" 360º rigs vs characters with more than o...

Re: Problem cutting parts for rigging

It takes a few steps: first select the path you wish to 'cut', enable Show Bezier and Fixed Bezier, then cut the shape using another path (or multiple paths) with Weld Crossing . Copy the path and wipe the path edges with the Delete Edge tool to remove unwanted segments, paste a copy and remove the...

Re: Problem cutting parts for rigging

Over here we do that differently: we already build the arm from several shapes which only appear as one. Thanks for answering. Yes I guess each software has different workflows but I find that a cutter that don't deform anything is very usefull in many situations. And if not a cutter, just being ab...

Problem cutting parts for rigging

Hello! I come from another animation software, and I'm used to cut some parts of a vector drawing for a variety or reasons. Example: I draw an arm (one shape in one layer), and then I decide to split it in two (below/above elbow) to have each part in a different layer. With my old software I just us...

Re: Style animation imposible to delete. Help

Select the shape and delete the fill/stroke keyframes in the timeline. Thank you for that fast answer! It wasn't exactly that but close, and that information made me see what was happening. In case someone is looking for this in the future: Like Wes made me understand, you can see the keyframes onl...

Style animation imposible to delete. Help

Hi! this is my first new topic, so hello to everyone! I'm Spanish so sorry if my english isn't very good. I was learning about the styles and changed the style of a shape. I didn't see I wasn't on frame 0 and then I realized that my change just made an animation changing the style. So far so reasona...
