Re: Bill Plytmpton's Dog Book
That's really interesting Dale. I do a LOT of 3D printing and designing myself but this technique I have never heard of. Thanks for sharing. Cheers. D.K Cura slicer allows you to import PNG files. I used the creality slicer but it's almost the same as cura. The import settings from top to bottom go...

Re: Bill Plytmpton's Dog Book
Have you considered GoFundMe ( and similar ) ..? No, when my mom passed away she left me a little over 50K for taking care of her at the end of her life for 4 years. It was supposed to be split three ways, but Mom gave the annuity all to me. I have two sisters and a nice one got 18 and the other on...

Re: Bill Plytmpton's Dog Book
Hi, I'm using four Ender 3 max neo's. The printer is a Brother laser printer. The embosser is a Irie Braile Sheet 120. The artwork is traced with Moho. Brought into Inscape to get it to size and add the Coordinate array system. Coordinate array system is like a map. Around the edges of the 3D prints...

Bill Plytmpton's Dog Book
Hey, Everyone I got sucked down a rabbit hole and after a year of work I came up with this book.
I'm still doing some animation, but this is taking a ton of my time.

Re: TOON BOOM getting sold to a PRIVATE EQUITY FIRM?!?!
I once had toon boom three I think. It was complete garbage software. The only thing it had to offer was peg system. The Harmony was for studios with deep pockets. They did not offer it to the general public.

Movement of a shape around a square.
https://gofile.io/d/WFzn6E This file show the basics of moving one shape in the up, down, left and right. Bone 1 has the circle with it points bound to it. You could also use layer binding. The other two smart bones points at the target. With 4 actions and with bone constraints of -25 and 25 degrees...

Re: MOHO keeps on crashing
One way to find out what the problem(s) might be is to post the file. If your using images that are sensitive you might be able to replace them. I use a method of naming the file on each save. Dog_1 than Dog_2 next would be Dog_3. If Dog_3 is causing a problem you still have Dog_2 to go back to. Dale

I have access to the software by asking to be on the beta team. I like to see what happens when you mix Moho and Wonderland.

I had to do some housekeeping in my Dropbox so that file is gone from the internet. I might still have it on in Windows 8 computer but I doubt it.

Re: AI writing help.
The free version gives you 10 rewrites a day. I find that using it on one sentence the more useful it is. Also if you're looking for a decent synonym to a word. Well nice thing about it if it's embedded in my browser. So it shows up in grammarly, discord and I believe here. I'm not sure I'm using my...

A little off topic of animation. But for me, writing scripts is just as much as doing audio. Before I start animating I usually write what I going to do. Unless it something real short I will write a script. And if other people are going to read it I use Grammarly. Now ,I'm also using: https://app.w...
