Thanks for sharing this tip! I'm currently not working with obj's but I'll bookmark it for when I do.

Re: PSD file in Moho 14
Hey guys! So I've taken on a new client who already has characters designed in PSD files. They imported fine into Moho, but my question is what happens when I start renaming and rearranging these? If no updates will be done in PS is it best for me just to bring everything in as PNGs to avoid any po...

Re: Pixar parody
Hehe. I am guessing you also did The Simpsons one. I think that is hilarious (and very well done): I agree. Nice story and jokes, looks great and also the music and sound design is completely on point (love that Simpsons alike music there, that sounds super awesome). Could've been one created by th...

Re: Pink Floyd contest
Just watched it and it's really beatiful! Brings the feelings across very well. I'm sure you are a great contender to win this competition.
Cool that you are even making another one. Now that's dedication!

Re: Pixar parody
Thank you! I did the all of the animation as well as asset creation and sound editing. I had my daughter do most of the lipsync work using Papagayo. I actually started working with the client back in June, so yes it did take awhile! Thanks for the info and nice to see you do all this yourself. Keep...

Re: Pixar parody
Wow, that's awesome! Looks great, nice story and voice acting (that voice of Woody sounds pretty close to Tom Hanks btw) and even the music and singing all sounds custom made. Did you all do this by yourself? This must've taken a lot of thoughts and time to create. Especially having a client involve...

Re: Just somebody doing physics in OpenGL
https://marioslab.io/uploads/webgl-demos/example/physics2.html As it says: click and drag wildly. I think it's quite impressive, albeit not really useful animation. The guy who made it: @badlogic@mastodon.gamedev.place, https://marioslab.io That's not 'just somebody doing physics', that's a demo th...

Re: New Script to Animate (rotational) Bone Speeds with Accerelation/Deceleration
Just published v1.2.0 of the Platter Control Script with some fixes, improvements and extra features. These ones have changed since the initial release: The script now also works with Speed bones that don't have keyframes themselves, but are controlled by control bones or smart bones to set an angle...

FYI Just added a feature request for this.synthsin75 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 10, 2023 9:20 pm Yeah, the API is largely only built to accommodate what the stock tools need, in kind of an ad hoc manner, rather than being more comprehensive.

Re: How to get Bone Angle on a frame when bone is controled by a Smart Bone?
Yeah, that's what I meant by "baking" too. What are you using to calculate all the values? The smart bone angle? If so, you might be able to jump into the action, get the relative rotation, and then calculate the controlled bone's angle at each frame yourself. Not sure. No just the fAngle...

Re: How to get Bone Angle on a frame when bone is controled by a Smart Bone?
If you're doing it not already, I seem to remember that baking keyframes from the end of the time range to the start is faster. Might be worth trying. Hi Wes, thanks for the tip. I just tried it, but it didn't make a difference if I wrote the keyframes from start to finish or in reverse. Writing in...

Re: How to get Bone Angle on a frame when bone is controled by a Smart Bone?
It's been a while since I don't deal with this kind of stuff, but I think fAngle , fPos , fScale (etc.) kind of properties should give you what you want, since, if I remember well, they are intended precisely to provide the very final state of objects, no matter if we are talking about bones, point...

How to get Bone Angle on a frame when bone is controled by a Smart Bone?
Hi, To my surprise it looks like the bone.fAnimAngle is not working when the bone's angle is controled by a smart bone. As an alternative I see that setting the playhead to that frame and using fAngle to get the angle does return the real angle of that bone, also when controled by a smartbone, but t...
