Re: Best Affordable Microphone

I noticed the H2 has apparently been replaced by the H2n, which according to reviews has a much better recorder/mic. Also, it seems a bit cheaper on Amazon right now too. I've had my old H2 for several years now--it still works well but after reading the reviews, hmm, maybe it's time to upgrade? Nah...

Re: Best Affordable Microphone

I have an older model H2, which is not just a microphone but is actually a self-contained portable recorder. Here's the link for the latest model: http://www.zoom.co.jp/english/products/h2/ What's nice about the H2 is that you can record anywhere with it and the audio quality is great. I take it wit...

Re: Bug Check: SmartBone Display Issue

Still don't know about the weird display error but I think I found an explanation for some of the other weirdness I was running into--probably mostly user error. I'm finding that some elements have old SmartBone and other Action data attached. Stripping them out seems to help when creating new Smart...

Re: Bug Check: SmartBone Display Issue

Finally got to try this scene on my workstation, which has an Nvidia card instead of the ATI chipset found in my tablet PC. The display error is about the same--some of the vector images will 'disappear' when creating a SmartBone action. Like with the ATI, however, if I rotate the bone, the display ...

Re: Bug Check: SmartBone Display Issue

Hmm. Apparently old Actions/SmartBone data can get transferred through Props because some of it somehow snuck into my 'clean' scene. I tried clearing the unwanted data in the new scene though and at least this time it really seems to be removed. Ugh. Hope this one was just a random issue--hate to ru...

Re: Bug Check: SmartBone Display Issue

I wondered if it was the ATI chipset in the tablet PC that caused the apparent redraw issue, so I switched the the built-in Intel Graphics chipset, but the redraw issue persists. Very strange. Will try this at home tonight on the workstation with the Nvidia card. Regarding my other SmartBone issue, ...

Re: Bug Check: SmartBone Display Issue

Regarding saving 'clean' ASP elements, I wound up saving each layer to the Library as a Prop and then importing the items to a new scene from the Library. I guess that should work shouldn't it? Will continue to post notes on my progress with this issue.

Bug Check: SmartBone Display Issue

Hi, I think I'm getting fairly competent with the tools in Anime Studio Pro but occasionally I will run into some puzzling behavior. Here's a new one (for me): I'm trying to rig one of my characters with SmartBones, and when I set up the arms for it, the artwork will 'disappear'. When I touch the ro...

Grid Offset

Hi, I find myself using the the Grid often when creating and rigging characters or when aligning items during animation. This works well except when the grid position doesn't exactly line up the the items and I wind up 'eyeballing' the alignment anyway. So, what I'd like to see in ASP is the ability...

Re: Can't delete keyframes.

If you still have trouble deleting keyframes, one thing to check for is any keyframe(s) that may have been moved to the left of frame 0. To check for this, look at the channel in sequencer. If the animation clip has been shifted to the left past frame 0, slide the clip to the right until the end of ...

Hey Vern, in my case this worked for me. Thanks for posting the tip.

Anime Studio, on the other hand, will support future development, promotion, and marketing. Hi, Congratulations on the release of Anime Studio! Hi, Thanks for the quick response. I haven't tried the scripts yet but their descriptions sound like what I need. Will try them out in a minute. I started using Moho last week and it impresses me more each day. Moho is a lot more powerful than I first thought it would be, and yet so very easy to use...

Moving Pivot for Point Rotation

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a way to move the pivot point when rotating selected points. When I select points, a pivot point becomes visible but I can't seem to manually reposition it.

Thanks in advance for any help.
