What is this blue trail?

I am in the early stage of experimenting with imported image layers, bones and the timeline.

Sometimes, a blue trail of arrows or triangles appears (not exactly sure if I am describing the colour/shape accurately, because it comes and goes).

I have the sense this may relate to tracking of a body part or tracking or movement of something - but cannot always reproduce it.

Could anybody tell me what this is called, so that I can read up on it more?

It would be much appreciated. :) :D

If you have the Reparent bone tool selected, arrows showing the bone hierarchy will appear.
Or if you have the Transform bone tool and the Show path option is checked, a line can appear following the bone you have selected (if it is a root bone)

Thanks, but this is before I do any bone rigging. It's when I move stuff around, I have a sense it's to show how I moved stuff but why does it sometimes appear and sometimes it's not there?

Sorry, that doesn't sound familiar. Is this in Moho 13 or earlier?

Make a screen cap the next time you see it and post it.

Thank again Greenlaw, I think it has to do with moving objects around , it's like a snail trail that shows you how you moved a body part for example, what I don't get is why it sometimes is there sometimes disappears, why doesn't it show up for every body part but randomly.
I have Moho pro12. I'll take a screenshot next time it happens, cheers!

Sounds like a root bone path to me. When you translate the root bone with the transform bone tool the path (blue trail) is visible, for other bones (child bones) is not. To disable that check out "Show Path" from the options.
