Bones not visible in all descendant layers of Switch Bone group - Moho 12 - 13.5

In the below example the Bones from bone group "Bones group" are visible & accessible in all descendant layers (as expected).
However the Bones from bone & switch group "Bones switch" are NOT visible in all descendant layers. They are only visible to child "Group 2". In reality it appears that the bones are still functional / selectable via the "Select Bone" tool / menu combo, and can be point and flexi-bound in the other descendant layers. But can't see a way to Layer bind.
Maybe there is some logic or usefulness to this that I am missing?
I have also logged this with Support.
