hello,

beginner here,
i just saw this example files from moho.
i wonder how i this achieved.

"follow path" tool does not include distortion like this, i wonder if theres a moho script that make this possible.

the object that follows the path needs to have enough points so that it is flexible (i.e. can bend round corners) - then, when setting up follow path, alt-click the starting point.

BTW, most tools have a tool tip that explains the optional features of a tool (like Bend Along Path)...



It's very handy even if you've been using Moho for a while. In 13.5.2 the tool tips are at the bottom of the screen but you can move it up closer to the Tool Options bar in Preferences if you like.

Also, I highly recommend looking at the manual. The Follow Path section explains the tool as Hayasidist did above, and in further detail.

You can also use an alternative approach if your image is a bitmap (or if you don't want to add more points to your vector artwork). In such cases you can use a Smart Warp Mesh, and have that follow the path.

In 13.5.2 (for bitmap):
- Create your vector Path
- Import or Select your bitmap image
- Use menu [Draw] > [Create Smart Warp Layer]
- Select the Path tool, adjust the Timeline frame as necessary, and alt-Click your Start/End/other positions on the Path

You may also need to go back to the Smart Warp layer and add more points to the mesh perimeter to allow the shape to be more flexible/bendy. In 13.5.2 the Smart Warp mesh will update automatically to accommodate them.

The below was created with Create Smart Warp Layer and the Add & Split Points tools; utilising a bitmap image of Big Ben.
