Re: Too many bones??
It's a relatively heavy group referenced from another file, and apparently it doesn't like to be influenced by bone movements. I now gave it its own bone sticking out of the tentacle rig and bound it to it. No more issue. I'm glad you got that solved! With Moho is almost always a specific problem t...

Re: Animated line boil on untextured brush
Yeah, there is a problem with antialiasing and brushes. You have more info about it here: https://www.lostmarble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=36417 Sadly the conclussion is that thin lines will always tend to look bad (pixelated, not correctly antialiased) in random parts of the line. You have to use t...

Re: Too many bones??
What we see is all there is in the scene right now? If I had poor perfomance just with that I would be looking for some specific cause or problem that causes the lag, because in my experience that scene shouldn't have bad performance so I think something is wrong with it. You had problems with maske...

Re: Push Frames Left/Right – Push EVERYTHING
Yes, I think we need at least three modes: everything, selected including children, and timeline visible (the one we have). The one we have is not very useful without another missing feature: enable timeline visibility of animated layers (whithout counting frame 1). Key modifiers like Alt + click, s...

Re: MR Bake Bone Dynamics
The problem with baking bones in version 14 is that bone dynamics do not update when changing frames via the API. There is one solution, but it might not be very convenient. I can make it so that the user manually changes frames and presses a button to record the bone transformations. The script ca...

Re: Create step keyframes for each inbetween frame?
Unfortunately, Deep Copy Range cannot bake bone dynamics. Thank you for confirming. If baking Bone Dynamics is what you need, KuzKuz has a tool for this, too... (He's thought of almost everything!) :D Sadly dynamics changed in Moho 14 so that tool no longer works in that version. We talked about it...

Re: Create step keyframes for each inbetween frame?
By the way you mention you are a newbie, so it's with mentioning that a common way of holding frames is to use the freeze bones/points button, the one with the key icon at the top of the timeline panel. Another way of doing the same for a specific channel is to double click in the channel line in th...

Re: Create step keyframes for each inbetween frame?
By all means, use KuzKuz's tool. It's awesome. Alternatively, you can use Moho's Deep Copy Range and Paste Deep Frames commands to bake a range. For example, when the animation is in the Bones layer, select the range and Deep Copy Range/Deep Paste the selection into itself. The result is a baked ra...

Re: Applying Effects or bushes to multiple layers
Victor just made a video about that. It's still a manual method layer by layer but it has some nice recomendations to make it faster. The explanation starts right there at the minute 8: https://youtu.be/dBIUeddGj2U?si=BJ8LY51j9kr0dOB3&t=481

Re: moho 14.1 deletes selected bones instead selected frames.
Thanks, but yes, I'm already doing all of that and have as much optimization as possible. But the rig is just too damn big. I guess i have to separate the character's head on a separate file and animate the face later, without the body... As I usually have to do. I'll have to check for those corrup...

Re: Ranking of most system intensive features
I usually use references for composition, so the originals are on the same file. I still have never used the import as reference feature because like you said I try to avoid problems so, to be precise, I don't know if imported references have this corruption problem, maybe not. I should try someday.

Re: moho 14.1 deletes selected bones instead selected frames.
This has happened to me too a few times. It also happens with points sometimes, instead of bones. And also when copy-pasting, not just deleting. It looks like a bug but it's possible that this bug only happens when your Moho file has bad performance, even if you wait for Moho to process each action ...

Yep that would be a handy little feature. I have had this thought too.
